corn starch. This bio-plastics resin comes from renewable resources like corn, potato,
tapioca, soybeans etc. These straws are far superior substitute to traditional plastic straws.
These products can be discarded with food waste -- no separation necessary. The straws
fully degrade into water, carbon dioxide and organic material when composted. They are fully
compostable within commercial facilities within 90 - 180 days, leaving no chemical residue.
It can take up to a year to biodegrade in a home composting system.
