Biodegradable, compostable disposable tableware is made from 100% bagasse.  

Sugar Cane Bagasse is a far superior alternative to both palstic and paper tableware.  Paper and plastics -- both are harmful to the
environment.  Plastic creates pollution, and degrades very slowly or not at all.  Most of the paper items are made from virgin trees.
Sugarcane is not only a readily renewable resource, but the sugarcane fiber can be turned into products normally made from plastic or
paper and avoids pollution from normal burning of sugarcane pulp after juice extraction.  Bagasse is molded at high pressure &
temperature to make beautiful, biodegradable, compostable, disposable plates, bowls, cups, take out containers, trays etc.  The
tableware has no plastic or wax lining applied to it and can be used for both hot and cold items.  Though, the tableware is soak proof, hot
items will cause moisture to form at the bottom of the tableware.

Currently, all bagasse tableware is made in China.
